You "GoGirl"

There is a new product on the market called "GoGirl" and it allows women to stand up while they urinate. Its essentially a funnel that you hold up to yourself.... I think you get the point.

Now I'm all for the equality of men and women but COME ON! Seriously? This cannot be a result of laziness because it seem like a lot more work than dropping trou and squatting down. Have we really become that insecure in our femininity that we have to pee like men now too? Men don't come into our bathrooms so I can't imagine its a result of competitive drive?

On the website (http://www.go-girl.com/index.asp) the item is advertised as a "Female Urination Device for Travel and Active Women." The ONLY time I think this MIGHT be useful is when you are camping or using a port-a-potty. But even then, us girls know how to squat. I can't justify spending $4.99 for one ($11.99 for 3). They also advertise for a great way to avoid all the germs in a public restroom. Now being a huge hypochondriac, this is a theory I can get on board with! Still, I'm no sure this could replace my current routine of toilet paper lined seats and lots of purell. Call me old-fashioned but I think I'll stick to what I know, it seems to be working out pretty well. But I won't put this idea out of my mind completely and who knows maybe one day I'll climb on board!
