Silent Night

This week has been full of silent nights.... I've lost my iPod.



No longer will I be one of those black silhouettes with the sweet moves but a colorful human with as much rhythm as Elaine. I'm lost without my 2" x 3" musical wonder. I think what I miss most is my ability to express myself. Even though no one knows what I'm listening to, the fact that probably 90% of the people around me have never heard the song or artist I'm listening to gives me a sense of individuality like no other.

Now, don't you fret! I've already taken the liberty to order myself a new one! It's being overnighted of course and I'll have it in hand tomorrow! A small price to pay for my absentmindedness.

I know the most logical question you'd ask me... "where did you loose your iPod?" Well, I left it at the gym and some punk stole it. I must say I'm beginning to loathe Ballys. It's becoming a very VERY expensive activity. This isn't the first time I've lost something there. Another post for another time but long story short I lost a pair of earrings, very sparkly ones. In the meantime, I've got one more night void of John William's "Theme from Jurassic Park." And another few hours after that without my go to Indie Mix to get me through my work day. And then we will be reunited... me and my iPod!
